Outdoor Living

Cook outside, swim, fish, hunt, or disappear into five miles of trails.

The Belvedere

A covered outdoor kitchen wired and plumbed for refrigeration. Equipped with a Big Green Egg, a propane burner and cooktop — all in active use. The Belvedere opens directly to the equipment building with its full bathroom, so you never need to go inside.

The Pond

An acre and a half, recently redone. The main cottage's windows and east-facing porch overlook the water. Two decks provide different ways to experience it:

Over-Water Deck

Sixty feet by thirty feet, built directly over the water — large enough for a gathering and positioned to make the pond feel like part of the living space.

Fire Pit Deck

A second deck, approximately 25 to 30 feet wide and 25 feet deep, adjacent to a recessed concrete fire pit area. Designed for evenings.

The Pool

Adjacent to the guest house: a 20-by-60-foot pool with a surrounding concrete patio and covered lounge area attached directly to the structure. Served by the guest house's independent well and septic.

The Trail Network

Approximately five miles of intertwined trails cross the property. They don't just trace the perimeter — they cut through the pine plantation, follow the creeks, and connect the structures to the far corners of the land. Hiking, ATV, horseback — or just walking off dinner from the Belvedere.

Hunting & Fishing

Turkey and deer are present on the property year-round, along with rabbit and quail. The pond supports fishing. The combination of pine plantation, hardwood corridors along the creeks, open pasture, and permanent water creates what amounts to a private wildlife preserve — without the designation.

The Porch

The main cottage's large east-facing porch deserves its own mention. It captures morning sun and remains protected from the afternoon heat. It overlooks the pond and the grounds — the kind of porch where the day starts with coffee and ends with whatever you poured after dinner.
